Hi Hope, Just wanted to send our condolences to you and your family!! You probably don't remember me, but I met you and Jenn & Danny's wedding. Notice that I put Jenn first?? She is the boss, you know!! Anyway, the thoughts of John that stick in my head are probably not the exact ones that you would expect. He obviously grew smarter and mellower when he met you, but I considered him a little crazy back in our days. My fondest memory is him renting a brand new Turbo Volvo to meet us at the river. He thought he had rented an off-road car and took us through the desert at 300MPH while he smashed cassette tapes on the dashboard. To top that, one of the best one's ever was the time that Danny borrowed a pontoon boat to go to Havasu on Memerial Day weekend. Of course, I was elected to drive the whole time and that I did!!! After stuffing about 25 people on the boat and 4 huge coolers of beer, we headed towards Copper Canyon. The boat was so over loaded and crowded that John volunteered to sit on an ice chest on the front of the boat.(Nice guy, heh) Well, as I proceeded down the extremely rough and crowded lake, we hit some huge wakes from all the boats and one of the waves came flying over the bow of the boat and completely knocked John off the ice-chest backwards end over end. He had to of flown 5 feet and soaking wet!!! I literally pissed my pants laughing along with everyone else on the boat!! John got up and said, " That was bitchin" and got back on. Anyway, I don't know if I made you laugh or not, but John was a great guy and always made me laugh!! I'm gonna miss him!!!
