Back on Track. We can all learn from the life experience of John Geyer, professional racecar driver. Diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor after a devastating sprint car accident in 2003, John never gave up on himself or his trust in God, even while enduring the pain and discomfort of chemotherapy and radiation treatments. After many months of recuperation, John was cleared by his doctor to return to racing. Rather than returning to the sprint race circuit, however, he opted to return to NHRA drag racing, the focus of his competitive driving from 1987, when he started racing, through 2002. While he will no doubt maintain his winning ways both at home and on the track, John's goal now is to help other people apply their minds, bodies and spirits to be healthy and overcome even the most challenging events in life.
